Central location, 3 minutes to the beach and bus station, 5 minutes to city center 1 minute to the supermarket Michelangelo Nice food

Location excellent.

Location excellent. Pool and room excellent. Staff tried to do their best but spoke very little English apart from reception.

With 3 teenage children 2 with food allergies found it really difficult to get desired food due to poor speaking English staff. No allergy data on menus. No poolside refreshments. No entertainment. Sunbeds were bare plastic and hard. Raw fish and meat where kept on plates next to each other and cooked on same griddle. They need to cater for fish nuts and gluten free allergies and make it clear.

Never received what i paid for BOOKING .COM BOOKED ME POOL VIEW ENDED UP ON 7 FLOOR LIFT GOING AS FAR AS 6 FLOOR I BLAME HOTEL FOR JUST PUTTING ME IN TO WHAT EVER SUITED THEM ON THE DAY

What was the highlight of Apartamentos Best Michelangelo

Perfect place for a family holiday in stunning Salou.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent food including freshly cooked options at both breakfast and dinner. Location cannot be beaten 300 yards from beach, town, train. Pool area very clean and no problems getting a sunbed which were some of the best I've used at a hotel in spain.

The air conditioning was quite noisy to the point I'd take the card out sometimes in the middle of the night to stop it coming on. A kettle would have been nice although there was a pan to boil water in.

quite dissapointing in light of value for money

Place at swimming pool always available independent of the timing. Personnel kind and willing to help.

Although I have booked the NON smoking room I have received the key to the room stinking of cigarettes. Luckily they replaced this room but unfortunately for the room with windows on the noisy street. therefore there was no way to sleep from 5am. Kitchen was dirty . Although it was aparthotel with equipped kitchen there was no cleaning stuff available (sponge, dish soup)

What was the highlight of Apartamentos Best Michelangelo

A pleasant surprise

I like it here. A friendly greeting laid the foundation for a comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable stay. The room and hotel were clean, breakfast and dinner were ample in choice and superb and the staff could not do more to help where needed. The location is superb being a 5 minute casual walk from the beautiful beach. There are plenty of choices of supermarket within a few minutes walk offering fresh fruits and vegetables. Medical facilities and car hire are also a 5 minute walk away on the same street as the apartments. A pharmacy is within 5 minutes. There is also a varied international choice of restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute walk. The train station and the marina is about 15 minutes walk. If you like to cook, there is not an oven, but there is a microwave to support the use of two hobs. A fridge freezer with ample space was a welcome addition. For those who prefer it, McDonald’s and Burger King is within a 5 minute walk. If you have mobility issues, the pavements and roads are well cared for meaning that getting around is easy. There are also plenty of pedestrian crossings. The staff, particularly the younger element, were fabulous.

There was not a kettle, so make your tea or coffee by boiling water on the hob. You need to remember that this is not a hotel, so if you want room service or even a bar to get a drink, you will be disappointed. However, the sister hotel, Da Vinci, is next door and offers all usual hotel stuff. If you like to sleep with the windows or doors open, you might find it to be a little noisy overnight. I believe it is the time when they clean the roads and/or empty bins. However, if you close the windows and use the air conditioning, it is perfectly quiet.

A brilliant fun filled & relaxing holiday!!!

Our whole holiday was fab!! The hotel was great, staff were lovely, the food was lovely especially breakfast and the hotel was clean!! We loved the area as the hotel location were close to the train station & to the beach.

Can be better

The location was excellent. The staff on reception were very helpful and mostly pleasant. The rooms were spacious and cleaned every day. The food was okay. I particularly liked Francisco on the grills. He was very professional and excellent. The vegetables were mostly pickled and not fresh. That is a shame because they had a good variety.

The air condition in the apartment did not have any controls. The was only one air condition unit in the living room hence it was always so cold in the living room and quite hot in the rooms. No kettle or irons in the rooms. Not enough utensils if you are considering self catering. The vegetables served was not fresh. It appeared like straight out of tins, pickled and quite salty. Water was not available with the meals and meant we had to buy water every dinner. For a large family as ours it was substantial! No entertainment in hotel. Swimming pool did not have any eating area or bar.

Good location, very basic accommodation. Nice pool and area with good sunbed availability.

The location was good and the pool was nice and quiet. You could get sunbeds anytime of the day. Restaurant was more modern than the hotel/apartments.

Cleanliness of the actual apartment, shower was disgusting and we asked for it to be cleaned, also found a cockroach crawling on the kitchen side. Air conditioning was old fashioned with no temperature control, so either too hot or too cold. Noisy corridors and from the streets. You could hear everything. Apartment/hotel was very basic with tiny bathroom/en-suite.

We arrived 2a.

We arrived 2a.m. but in the room 2 portions of dinner and fruits were waiting for us. (halfboard) The terrace was at least 40m2 on the roof, partly wieving the sea. The location is much more then excellent. We appreciated the work of the excellent staff. Congratulation! The restaurant and the meals are delightful.

The bed is too narrow for two persons.
